Who is Eben "Wolverine" Schaeffer?

It's kind of hard to sum such a huge character up in a few lines. Basically, he's a mutant with incredible regenerative powers & a set of natural claws. He was tested on by scientists & stuff & as a result his skeleton was laced with a metal called adamantium. He was recruited by Professor Xavier to join his second generation team of superheroes, the X-Men. Wolverine normally projects a gruff exterior & likes to pretend he doesn't care, but he has a soft spot for the ladies (most notably Jean Grey) & has a habit of picking up waifs & strays (Kitty Pryde, Jubilee, Elsie Dee etc.).
