Who is Nick DiRago?
Nick was born Leonard Mortimer Weitzman in Beverly Hills, California.
His father was O.J.'s first lawyer!
Young "Lenny" went to the most exclusive
private schools where he became friends with the sons and
daughters
of the rich and famous, even some of the Wayans Brothers! He was a happy
child who loved to
laugh and play practical jokes. One of his favorite
pranks was to dial random numbers then make himself
sound like an old
man when in fact he was very young!
Leonard's life changed forever when he learned that his real father
was in fact a Scandinavian sailmaker
named Einar Salkcin. In tribute
to the father he never knew, Leonard changed his name to Nickolas;
"Salkcin"
spelled backwards! Sort of.
During his adolescence, Nick spent his days marauding
through the hills of his posh neighbourhood in
search of empty pools
to vert skate in, and high roofs to bungee jump from. These thrills
became his drug.
Then later, drugs became his drug! Nick was popular
among his classmates, instantly reaching legendary
status when he turned
a friend's pet iguana into a fully functioning bong! But when the iguana
checked into
rehab at Promises of Malibu claiming to have been fired
from Ally MacBeal, Nick realized it had all gone
too far.
Nick was also popular with the ladies. While other boys his age were
content to cop a feel, Nickolas was
enjoying full on e-fueled love parties
with his teachers! It was at one of these multi-generational "hoe-
downs"
that the slim-boned looker was discovered by model starmaker Mick Hanley,
Mick was famous for
his keen eye for talent, as well as his "honeydew
sized" man-gland! At first, Nick was resistant to the idea
of modeling,
considering it a mindless pursuit for pretty boys. But after Mick showed
him the '94 Gap
"Pocket-T" campaign, he realized the money he could
make to satisfy his ever-increasing aflliction to
Italian shoes. Once
the shallow world of modelling couldn't hold his attention any longer,
Nick shifted his
